Special features
The PADUA was the last Flying P-Liner built for the shipping company Laeisz and delivered in 1926 by the shipyard Joh. C. Tecklenborg, Geestemünde. She was 97,6 m long, 8,9 m wide and her draught was 7,8 m. Measuring 3064 GRT she was mostly identical to the PEKING, PAMIR and PASSAT in terms of design, size and tonnage. In 1946 she was handed over to Russia as part of the spoils of war and has since then been sailing named KRUZENSTERN as the last P-Liner under the Russian flag. Very good condition, the oil painting was cleaned, newly varnished and newly framed. Signed and dated "1943". Provenance: private collector from Northern Germany.
